The Root
VID / VIS comes from Latin and means "to see."
When you see this root, think about sight, seeing, or looking.

The Editor
Mark was an editor for a large publishing house. His job was to revise the manuscripts sent in by authors. He had excellent vision for detail, spotting typos that were invisible to others.
